Nigerian born Kemi Badenoch elected leader of Conservative Party

The United Kingdom Conservative Party has elected Nigerian Born British Politician Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke Badenoch; née Adegoke as its new leader.

Badenoch defeated Robert Jenrick to take on the new role replacing outgoing leader and former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
By her election she is in a position to become the Prime Minister if her party returns to majority in the House of Commons.
