After 14 million votes by fans in the third week of the live shows, Gerald, one of the top 10 contestants at the 7th edition of Nigerian Idol, has failed to make it to the top 9.
He left the show after going through an audition process and two weeks of the live show performance.
Gerald failed to secure a spot in the top 9 on Sunday, April 3 after nine other contestants made the 9 finalists.
Jordan was the first to make it to the top nine and he gave the first performance of the night.
Progress was called next before taking the stage to thrill the stage audience and viewers with an electrifying performance when he performed one of Cobhams Asuquo’s hit songs, Dream.
Itohan was next to secure a spot before Abigail.
Zadok gave a sterling performance that left the crowd cheering with his rendition of Timi Dakola’s song. David Operah, Debby, and Faith also secured a spot.
The show ended with Banty making the final spot with a performance that left the studio audience cheering her on.
