The Chairman of Ogun West Senatorial District of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Hon. Atele Jeremih Nunayon, extended warm congratulations to Nigerian Muslims on the conclusion of the Ramadan fast, emphasizing the significance of the Eid-El-Fitri celebration as a time of love and goodwill. In his Sallah message, he urged adherence to the virtues of Islam beyond the fasting period, stressing the importance of sacrifice and spiritual reflection.

“Eid-el-fitr is a time of love and goodwill. It gives us a message to love all and hate none,” Hon. Atele remarked, highlighting the essence of embracing peace and tolerance in society.

The NNPP Chairman also seized the occasion to commend the newly elected NNPP Ogun State party chairman, Barrister Olufemi John Aina, and extended special greetings to His Excellency Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo and all NNPP members in Ogun State.

Speaking on the forthcoming 2027 general election, Hon. Atele expressed confidence in the party’s prospects for victory, citing the capabilities of Barrister Aina and Ambassador Ajadi in navigating political challenges. He emphasized the need for steadfastness and focus among NNPP members, underlining the party’s commitment to bringing about positive change in Ogun State and nationally.

Addressing internal party dynamics, Hon. Atele urged unity among NNPP members, urging against division over the introduction of a new party logo. He reassured members that discussions were underway to resolve any grievances, emphasizing the party’s stance against factionalism.

“NNPP is a political party without faction. So, members of any group that come out to claim faction of the party are nobody in our party. They are only impersonating,” he declared, urging members to remain steadfast in their support.

As the Eid celebrations commence, Hon. Atele’s message resonates not only with NNPP members but with all Nigerians, emphasizing the importance of unity, tolerance, and political focus in shaping a better future for the nation.
