The gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Ogun State, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, said the good governance promised by his political party would be achieved through corruption-free administration; taking the opinions of minorities into account and listening to the voices of the oppressed citizens.
Ajadi, who spoke with our reporter today, Thursday, 23 February 2023, in Ogun State, said having regard for the rule of law and managing public resources judiciously are the basic principles of acceptable government.
He said, “The government of APC has failed the masses in all ramifications by not fulfilling its promises and not complying with the rules of law and the judgement of the judiciary on any socio-economic and political issues.”
Ajadi emphasized that the people of Ogun State could only regain back their civil rights and democratic dividends by voting the incumbent governments out of power at the state and federal levels on the 25 of February and 11 March respectively.
He moved further to say that the new Naira notes policy has brought a lot of burden to the socio-economic lives of the citizens as the scarcity of cash; network and transferring issues have turned the hardworking Nigerians beggars.
“The citizens have been underestimated by the ruling government through its draconian decision on cash policy and the refusal to abide by the rules of the judiciary in alleviating the negative consequences on citizens.”
“The New Nigeria People’s Party has come to rescue the citizens from the hands of bad rulers at the state and federal. We are taking over the government by the grace of God to liberate our people from the democratic slavery of the ruling government,” he said.
