NSCDC recovered 80 Jumbo Sacks of PMS from vandals in Lagos

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Lagos State command have recovered 80 jumbo sacks of PMS believed to have been hidden by suspected pipeline vandals at Baruwa swamp creek pipeline Ayobo-Ipaja area of Lagos State. 

The commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Lagos command Otoibhi Ehiabhi Cyprian disclosed the latest breakthrough to our correspondent at the weekend in an exclusive interview.

According to him immediately his men discovered the PMS contain in jumbo bags they quickly alert officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to come over for evacuation. 

Hence on Friday 7th December officials of the NNPC come to the  creek and evacuated the recovered products conveyed with two trucks to NNPC Ejigbo Satilite depot. 

According to him the repair works at the vandalised points have been completed with points patchwelded with red oxidecoating 

The discovery of the PMS contained in jumbo sacks followed intensive patrol of operatives of the Civil defence in the creek.
