The leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has described the Amuwo Odofin Local Government chief, Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh as a true ‘Ambassador of the Youths’.

The Chairman of the body in Lagos State, Comrade Gbenga Ogunsola stated this, when he paid the chairman a courtesy visit in company of the Youths Coordinator in Local Government, Comrade Gbenga Nathaniel and NYCN’s Organizing Secretary, Lagos West, Comrade Fashola Olawale. He said he was amazed with the Infrastructure, Youth and Educational development put in place in the local government.

“We cannot shy away from the glaring truth. The Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government area is working.  I was happy to be informed that the Youth Coordinator in this Local Government Area, Comrade Gbenga Nathaniel is one of your aides. Today, I witnessed the presentation of JAMB forms to some of our youths. You have indeed surpassed our expectations.

“We really need to commend your gallant efforts in repositioning the youths in your local government area. The road rehabilitation and re-construction as well as environmental regeneration are classical example of a responsive government. You are a good product that needs no advertisement,” the Youth Leader stated.

The State Chairman stated this when the trio jointly presented the ‘Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area Youths Budget’ to the Executive Chairman at his Office today.

Comrade Ogunsola commended him for the good work and appealed to him not to relent in his efforts in repositioning the youths in the local government area.

Also, Comrade Nathaniel appreciated and commended Engr. Buraimoh for meaningfully engaging the youths in the Council through his policies that have touched the lives of the youths positively.

Responding, the Chairman said he was happy to receive the number one youth in his domain, stressing that the Youths should play more and active role in the development of our great Nation, Nigeria.

“I cannot thank you people enough. Youth restiveness has reduced in the Council; all thanks to your efforts and that of the government. Together, we are achieving a lot.
