The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has said that obsession for food and sex has destroyed many powerful men of God. For him, obsession is demonic and it is a battle that can only be won by the power in the name of Jesus.
Adeboye said this yesterday, at the ongoing 70th Annual Convention of RCCG, holding at the Redemption City, Mowe, Ogun State.
Adeboye said that obsession is fixing your mind on one wrong thing knowing that that thing could finish you, adding that so many people are obsessed with alcohol, drugs and sex.
He lamented that a lot of people can not do without alcohol and sex and has destroyed their lives
He made reference to Samson in the Bible who destroyed his glorious destiny because of uncontrollably desire for sex. He said it was so bad that Samson would go and meet with harlot just to have sex, which eventually became his wateeloo.
He stressed that many ministers of God have had their successful ministry cut short because of their obscession for sex.
He mentioned other demonic attacks to include possession, confusion repression, depression, all of which scoring to him, can only be curtailed by the power of Jesus Christ.
He urged everyone who desired to be successful to watch against the trips of obsession as it can ruin their glorious future.
