Convener Women Arise for Change and wife of Yinka Odumakin, the National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Yoruba socio-cultural group has been speaking of how her husband died.
Ojei-Odumakin said her husband health crisis took a dip for the worse on March 10, when he was admitted at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Yaba, Lagos.
She said he was responding to treatment until yesterday when he developed respiratory complications.
Okei-Odumakin who was shattered by the development told sunrise.ng that she was by his bedside until he breath his last.
“He fought bravely. He fought as the illness eat deeper into him. Now I am shattered. A part of me is gone. The love of my life is gone forever,” she said.
