Ogun APC candidate congratulates Governor-elect

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress and House of Assembly Candidate for Abeokuta North Constituency, Engr. Taiwo Oludotun (Twinny), has congratulated Prince Dapo Abiodun on his election as the Governor of the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Prince Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of Saturday’s governorship election, held across the state.

In the congratulatory message issued by the Assembly Candidate, Oludotun, he said that now that the elections are over, the governor-elect should ensure all stakeholders are carried along in his administration.

Oludotun urged Prince Dapo Abiodun to start preparing for the onerous task of governance by putting behind him all the electioneering acrimonious and prevail on his followers and supporters to fasten their belt for the task ahead.

He thanked the people of Ogun state for standing solidly behind the governor-elect before, during and after the election, noting that they shouldn’t rest on their laurels until success of good governance is achieved in the gateway state.

“I want to specially congratulate our digital and amiable governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun on his well deserved election to serve the good people of Ogun state, he has worked fantastically well and the people have rewarded him.”‎ Oludotun said

He added that as an industrialist and oil magnate, he should apply the ideology and wisdom of his private practices into the state government policy, in order to deepen the state’s capacity as the industrial and commercial hub of the country.

He said it was a collective responsibility to move the state forward and the people need to work hand in gloves to achieve a greater height, and bring good governance to the residents of the state, noting that government alone could not shoulder the task before it but with the inhabitants of the state.

He enjoined the governor to run an inclusive government and be magnanimous in victory, adding that “Ogun State is one and we must remain united and one entity to develop the state for us and future generations.”
