Ogun holds town hall meeting on land acquisition in Ogijo

The Ogun State government under the Ogun State Land Administration and Revenue Management System (OLARMS) said a town hall meeting with residents of Likosi, Seidu, Ilara, Semawa, Imagbon, Aguntoye, Konigbagbe, OGIJO and others, holds today.

A statement by the Consultant to the Governor/Project Manager OLARMS, Mrs. Oyindamola Oyelese, indicated that the meeting will be an interactive session, where they can further discuss on land acquisition, OLARMS, as well as answer any questions that might arise.

It further indicated that the scheme (OLARMS) is offering an amnesty to residents mentioned above that have built properties on land currently under government acquisition.

It will also give them the opportunity those interested in purchasing land directly from the government, in partnering with private sector, so as to prepare land for sale which were fully equipped with modern facilities, such as graded roads, pipe borne water, alternative electricity supply, security, recreation facilities and others.

The release urged the residents of Ogijo and its environs to troops out en-masse for the meeting and be seated on or before 11am, as the meeting will open window opportunity on their landed properties.
