While receiving the award, the Chairman expressed his happiness at the recognition, assuring the people that the award would spur him to double his efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy.
Olowa appreciated the Almighty God and the organiser of the event, the Concerned Nation Builders Initiative (CNI) for giving him the privilege to serve humanity and the people of the Lekki community and its environs.
He noted that governance at the federal and state might be far from people, but ensuring the positive impacts of governance at the grassroots level is important to provide dividends of democracy to all and sundry at the grassroots.
The award, he said, will serve as motivation to intensify more efforts as a government to embrace more transformative and developmental initiatives that would alleviate the sufferings of the people and mitigate against unpleasant economic hardship.
The Director-General of Concerned Nation Builders (CNI), Chief Idris Olukoya, who thanked God Almighty for the success of the event, acknowledged the presence of dignitaries and solicited their continued support in making the Epe Division a great place for future generations.
The Concerned Nation Builders Initiative, he said, remains committed to its mission of creating a better future for Epe Division communities and looks forward to continuing its work of making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
“This year’s event marked a significant milestone, as CNI celebrated its 5th anniversary of creating unity and oneness within the community. The organisation has consistently demonstrated its commitment to giving back to residents by identifying and addressing the needs of the community”, Olukoya said.
The dignitaries in attendance include former Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Epe Constituency II, Hon. Olusegun Olulade; Administrative Comptroller of Lekki Free Trade Zone, Mr. Adebanjo Otukomaya and the representative of Senator Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru.
