The Director General of Omogeye Campaign Organization Ambassador Charles Okafor has stated his resolve to ensure greater political feat is attained by the Labour Party, as he receives Excellent Leadership and Appreciation Award.
In a statement signed by Okafor’s media aide Chukwuemeka Iloh on Sunday,his principal was honored with the Labour Party’s Excellent Leadership and Appreciation Award.at the Labour Party Post Easter Party held at C-Courtesy Garden, 6th Avenue, Festac Town on Saturday April 13, 2024.
The award was said to have been bestowed upon Amb. Okafor in recognition of his outstanding leadership qualities and dedication to the promotion of the values and principles of the Labour Party.
Okafor in his acceptance speech said : “This is to reaffirm my commitment to continue working tirelessly for the betterment of the party and pledged his loyalty to the Leadership of Hon George Adegeye Olawande, I am equally grateful that my efforts are recognized.
He also expressed gratitude to the Labour Party’s Executives in Amuwo Odofin LGA led by Pastor Emmanuel Okibie for the recognition and pledged to continue supporting the party’s activities.
His aide noted that as the Director General of Omogeye Campaign Organization, he played a pivotal role in the election that ushered in Hon George Adegeye Olawande as the Representative for Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections.
He also advanced the party’s agenda and advocated for unity amongst Labour Party faithfuls.
The Labour Party Post Easter Party was a vibrant and celebratory event, attended by party members, supporters, and leaders from across Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency. It was an opportunity for the party to come together, celebrate their achievements, and reaffirm their commitment to the ideals of democracy, social justice, and progress.
