The Commissioner also urged motorists heading to the inner streets of the axis to make use of Mobolaji Bank Anthony to access Emmanuel, Aderibigbe Shitta and Adeoye Adeyemi Streets; while those heading towards Mende and its environ, can make use of Mende Street to link Ajose Street and connect Oki Lane to continue their journey.
In a similar development, the Transport Commissioner disclosed that the repairs of a section of the Lagos Bound lane at the Iyana Era/Badagry Expressway scheduled for the 17th of September, has been postponed till further notice due to unforeseen circumstances. He said a new date for the diversion will be communicated to the public.
Oladeinde while commending motorists for their patience and cooperation, reaffirmed that personnel of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will be deployed to the affected routes to minimize inconveniences.
He sought for greater understanding from Lagosians during the period of road rehabilitations/constructions, adding that the objective of all these projects is to ameliorate traffic challenges in the State. He said the Opebi/Ojota link bridge when completed would bring much needed relief to commuters and motorists in the state.
