A pro democracy group, Oyo State Development Advocacy Group (OSDAG), has hailed the executive governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, as he celebrates his 52nd birthday today.
The group in a statement issued by its spokesman, Mr. Michael Ogunsina in Oyo State on Thursday, felicitate with the governor and thank God for preserving his life in good health and prosperity.
According to the group, they said, this birthday is the perfect occasion to celebrate the governor because he is very dear to them.
Today, we have the opportunity to make the governor profoundly feel acknowledged and loved on this special day and by this, we enjoy ourselves too.
Calling on all Nigerians to join them as they celebrate and highlight the wonder and excitement of birthday moment of Engr Seyi Makinde.
Makinde who was born on December 25, 1967 in Ibadan Oyo State, will be celebrating his 52nd birthday today.
OSDAG said that, Makinde is a blessing not only to the Oyo citizens, but the entire Nigerians, because of his good leadership qualities, attracting more love and supporters to him.
The group offers a birthday prayer as thus: May God bless you (Makinde) with peace and happiness on this unique day that you celebrate. And may that divine peace and happiness follow you the rest of your life.
On this special day of yours, we pray that the good Lord gives you all the joy and happiness that your heart can contain.
The group, while wishing the governor a happy birthday, also used the occasion to further pray to God almighty, to grant him more wisdom in good health, to be able to pilot the affairs of Oyo State to a greater height as he has already started.
OSDAG calls on Nigerians of all religious faith, to join them in praying for Makinde for a successful tenure, as he is saddle with the responsibility of turning Oyo State around for the good, while also wishing the people Merry Christmas.
