Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, danced on stage with a popular Ugandan dance group called the ‘Ghetto kids’ at the just-concluded 2023 Confederation of African Footballer Awards.
Twenty-four years after Nwankwo Kanu won the CAF Award, Osimhen on Monday became the first Nigerian player to win the CAF Player of The Year Award.
The video in which he was seen dancing with the Ugandan dancers on stage amid celebration was shared on the official X handle of CAF on Tuesday with the caption, “Osi na nwata buru ogaranya 1! Inspiring the next generation with greatness”.
Among those who won big at the CAF 2023 Award are Chiamaka Nnadozie and Asisat Oshoala.
