Mr. Tunde Rufai a committed All Progressives Congress (APC) member in Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency has made the membership list of the recently constituted 86-man National Campaign Council ahead of the July 16, 2022 Osun State election.
In a release jointly signed by Senator Abdullahi Adamu APC’s National Chairman and Senator Iyiola Omisore National Secretary, Tunde Raufai name was the 59th amongst the listed 86.
The council will be officially inaugurated on Thursday 23rd of June, 2022 at the APC National Headquarters Abuja.
Tunde who was prior to now a media aide of serving Honourable Rasheed Makinde the lawmaker representing Ifako-Ijaiye constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, got a double dose of lifting as he also got listed for the ongoing hajj pilgrimage courtesy his boss.
Obviously dazed by the development, elated Tunde who runs a quite active news blog, newsherald online notes that there is reward for perseverance.
“It pays to be loyal and long suffering as one can not really say what is going on, on the other side in ones favour until it manifests.
“All praise to almighty Allah, I must say I never saw this coming. First the campaign council membership and a sudden hajj opportunity courtesy my amiable and trustworthy boss, Hon.Rasheed Olanrewaju Makinde, I shall forever be grateful to him for this kind gesture,” Tunde reiterated.
