As covenant varsity matriculates 1,804,120 post graduates

The Pro – Chancellor’s Covenant University, Bishop David Oyedepo has advised youths to imbibe the values of integrity, possibility mentality, capacity building, diligence, and spirituality as they remain panacea to success in life.
Oyedepo said this recently at the 20th matriculation ceremony of Covenant University held at the Institution Chapel, Ota, Ogun State. A total number of 1,804 undergraduate and 120 postgraduate students were matriculated.
He said that for any life to be productive, meaningful, and impactful, the need to imbibe the core values of spirituality, Integrity, Possibility Mentality and moral ineptitude is imperative.
He noted that by Covenant, every child of God is destined for an enviable future which is realizable when one chooses to apply these core values to his/ her life.
“Being a highly customized Institution, Covenant University presents a set of life – changing core values which helps in training up each student for a productive life”he said.
He said “on this note, I admonish that each and every one of you to embrace these unequivocal values for immediate benefit towards enhancing performance in your academic engagements, adding that it is absolutely impossible to get distinguished in your studies or in any field of human endeavor without being self-disciplined.
Oyedepo pointed out to validate this testimonies abound from around the world of how our graduates have excelled in their endeavors by imbibing these Core Values while passing through this Campus.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Vice-Chancellor’s Covenant University, Professor Abiodun Adebayo said that as a leading world-class university, Covenant University has become the most preferred University for candidates seeking for higher education in Nigeria.
He advise that the matriculating students to be mindful of the fact that they are in Covenant to receive life-applicable and life-transforming education.
“The University’s Board, Management, Faculty and Staff have covenanted to provide world-class learning experience, which I hope they will maximize. It is instructive that all matriculants take heed to this wise counsel of our Chancellor, Dr. David O. Oyedepo, “You are absolutely responsible for the outcome of your life. It takes high level discipline to make high level achievements.”
Adebayo noted that Covenant University has produced over 20,000 graduates who are doing tremendously well within and outside the governmental circles across the globes. Some of them are captains of industry, giants in the telecommunication, academics, and other sectors of human endeavours today.
