Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, on Friday disclosed that a lot is wrong with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Fayose predicted that the PDP would likely come fourth in the 2027 elections.

He made this disclosure while featuring on Channels Television’s programme Politics Today.

The former governor noted that it was unfortunate that he was absent during the PDP’s National Executive Committee, NEC meeting.

According to Fayose: “PDP will come 4th in the next general election. A lot is wrong with our party (PDP), and that is the naked truth, and it is unfortunate. I was duly invited.”

The PDP has been embroiled in several layers of crisis within its leadership ranks.

The crisis led to chieftains like former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President David Mark, and others defecting to the opposition coalition that adopted the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
