Even as the heat generated by photographs of President Muhammed Buhari’s private visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in London continues to make the rounds, the latter continues to play host to top shot politicians from Nigeria
The latest visitor to the Tinubu’s London home, captured in a photograph released on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Tunde Rahman was one of his protégés Dr Muiz Banire, ex-Chairman of AMCON and the former National Legal Adviser of the APC.
Banire’s visit is undoubtedly drawing tons of comments as many thought he had fallen apart with Tinubu.
In the photograph, Banire was seen posing with his former boss, under whom he first served as a Special Adviser.
Banire later served as Commissioner for Transportation and was later moved to the Ministry of Environment under Tinubu’s successor, Babatunde Raji Fashola.
He was a super commissioner who served Lagos State for 12 years before he moved to the national stage in 2016 as the party’s national legal adviser.
Banire was to fall out with Tinubu in the aftermath of the 2015 governorship election in which he considered himself a very strong contender and had castigated Tinubu openly for how everything eventually panned out.
Tinubu’s health has been a subject of speculation lately, with many speculating his death. The Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had put paid to the ugly speculation earlier in the month when he visited the APC National leader in his London home.
