Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Chukwuemeka Okoye, aka Frodd, goes into history as the first housemate to become a father in a season as we and his wife, Pharmacist Chioma, welcomed their first child.
The news of the arrival of the baby, a girl, was shared on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday.
He wrote, “Dear Friends, Family and Loved Ones, we are overjoyed to share the wonderful news with you all, our bundle of joy has arrived! Our family has been blessed with the arrival of a beautiful baby girl.”
Frodd is currently featuring in the ongoing Big Brother Naija All-Stars reality show. He featured in the day’s wager activity, which was a drama which centred on him as a King.
Big Brother had called Frodd moments after the completion of the task to break the news to him, but not after hinting after the completion of the wager task which the housemates lost that a surprise awaits them as soon as they got back to the house.
Frodd and his wife had announced that they were expecting a child shortly before he joined the reality show.
The happy father who was seen in tears as he rejoined other housemates after BigBrother broke the news to him would later be seen breaking the good news to housemates who all hugged him calling him Father Frodd.
Frodd and his fiancée, Pharmacist Chioma, got married in February this year.
Frodd’s baby would go into the books as the first ever to be born during a season and the remarkable development has been drawing attention.
