The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared winner in 10 out of the 17 local government areas so far announced by the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC).
PLASIEC Chairman, Plangji Cishak, who’s also the returning officer for the local government election conducted on Wednesday, October 9, said that candidates of PDP won in
- B/Ladi
- Mikang
- Shendam
- Bassa
- Riyom
- Jos South
- Jos East
- Kanam
- Qua’an Pan
- Langtang South
He said that the results of seven local government areas are still being awaited.
These, according to him, are

- Mangu
- Wase
- Jos North
- Kanke
- Bokkos
- Langtang North
