Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has reacted to his side’s Premier League 1-1 draw against Burnley on Tuesday night.
Pogba said the result against Burnley was not what Man United wanted, adding that he was happy to score against the host.
The France World Cup winner scored for Man United in the 18 minutes of the encounter against Burnley.
But Burnley equalized through Jay Rodriguez’s strike in the 47 minutes at Turf Moor, as the match eventually ended in a draw.
The result means Man United are now in the fifth position on the Premier League table with 39 points from 23 games.
Reacting, Pogba, in a tweet via his Twitter handle after the game, wrote: “Not the result we wanted, but happy to be back on the scoresheet again #MUFC.”
Pogba will now hope to continue his impressive display for Man United when they take on Southampton in their next Premier League match on Saturday.
