Police arraigns Pastor for allegedly collecting flight ticket to heaven

 The Ekiti State Police Command said it has arraigned the Pastor involved in the alleged fraud of collecting ticket fee from members of his church for flight ticket to heaven.

The Pastor of Christ High Commission Ministry, Pastor Noah Abraham, was alleged to have been collecting money from members of his church for a flight to heaven after rapture.

The church, the police said is in Araromi Ugbeshi-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The Police condemned what it called avoidable misinformation, unnecessary apprehension, adding that the Command is not unaware of the trending controversial activity as necessary steps and actions have been taken.

Ekiti State PPRO, ASP Abutu Sunday in a statement said based on intelligence report received on April 25, 2022, the Police had commenced investigation

concerning the religious activity, the Area Commander, Omuo-Oke led a team of detectives to the church camp at Araromi Ugbeshi-Ekiti. The pastor was subsequently invited to the station for interrogation and has been arraigned following thorough investigation.

The Command assured that it would continue to closely monitor any suspicious activity by any person or group of persons across the State to ensure that the lives and properties of innocent citizens are protected.
