The Kaduna State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, made this disclosure while speaking with the News men on Wednesday in Kaduna.
Jalige said that the exercise which began on Monday would come to an end on September 6, adding that the screening was being carried out to cover every Local Government Area in the state.
According to him, so far, candidates from the Kaduna North LGA are already through with their screening, while those of the Kaduna South and Igabi LGAs are to be concluded soon.
He called on the applicants to conduct themselves in an orderly manner, assuring that every one of them would be screened.
Jalinge urged the applicants to come along with their National Identity Number (NIN), original and photocopies of credentials, certificate of origin and birth certificate or declaration of age.
He said all documents must be arranged in two places while they must attach flat files with recent passport photographs.
Jalinge listed other requirements to include the print out of the application submitted, confirmation page and duly completed guarantor’s form.
He warned that applicants who failed to present any of the requirements would not be considered for the screening.
The Police PRO added that so far, the screening was going on smoothly without any hindrance, adding that the exercise was being conducted under strict COVID -19 protocols.
The command issued a statement that physical and credentials screening of prospective applicants into the Nigeria Police would begin on Aug. 24.
