Cristiano Ronaldo was among the Manchester United players that arrived at the Lowry Hotel, ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Newcastle.
The 36-year-old is in line to make his second debut at Old Trafford.
It is expected that Ronaldo will be deployed through the middle of a front three.
Other forwards in the squad include Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho and Jesse Lingard.
