The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has lost another notable pastor and preacher of the word of God, Pastor Olalekan Aruna, 58, who died on Monday night after a brief illness.
Sunrise News learnt that Pastor Aruna, until his death was the Pastor in charge of Lagos Province 9, with headquarters at Mafoluku, Oshodi.
Aruna, born on June 12, 1963, has been receiving treatment at a Lagos hospital where he breath his last. His remains have been deposited at the mortuary.
Aruna was until his last posting, the Principal of the RCCG School of Missions and he had also served in various mission fields across Africa.
Sources told Sunrise News that the late Aruna would be sorely missed by members of the RCCG especially by the churches under the province 9, where he called the shots until his death.
