The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has spent N2billion on food and medical supplies to cushion the effect on COVID-19 in Nigeria and other parts of the world.
Assistant General Overseer, Personnel and Administration, Pastor Johnson Odesola, stated this when the church donated relief materials to 4, 000 households across Lagos at the RCCG, National Headquarters, Ebute-Metta.
The reliefs include rice, beans, and other household items.
Odesola said the items were for RCCG and non-RCCG members.
He noted that the church was committed to contributing to the wellbeing of all Nigerians, especially the vulnerable.
The church had donated 11 ICU beds fully fitted with ventilators to Lagos, Ogun and Plateau states.
