Efforts are still ongoing at the site of the collapsed 21 storey building which collapsed on Monday afternoon at Gerrard Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Lagos State government fully mobilised all it’s agencies in the search and rescue unit to the site of the collapsed 21 storey building to complement efforts at ensuring that as many victims as possible are rescued alive from the rubbles of the collapsed building.
Unconfirmed reports put the number of artisans trapped under the rubbles at about 50.
Work was still ongoing this afternoon when the building gave way and collapsed this afternoon.
