Revealed: Real reason Davido went underground

American-born Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer, David Adedeji Adeleke, professionally known as Davido resurfaced yesterday (September 10) after remaining incommunicado for months.
The 27-year-old dropout from Oakwood University where he studied Business Administration, stayed off all public engagements and the social media as soon as he got an accident from which he sustained some injuries.
But yesterday, the self-styled Omo Baba Olowo (OBO) returned to the social media with a big surprise for his numerous fans.
Though he didn’t state it categorically, but what the Afrobeats, Afro pop and Dancehall music star posted on his Instagram page Thursday evening suggests that he had used the period of nursing his injuries to work on his latest project.
Posting the cover design of his new song simply titled “Fem”, the Osun State father of three daughters from different mothers wrote: “To the people talking about you because they don’t understand your shine, they don’t understand your grace, they don’t understand why they can never be what you are or have what you have, we say #FEM! Out now. Visuals out by 7pm WAT! Heard y’all missed me.”
Put your hands together let’s welcome back Oko Chioma to the dance floor!
