Yobe State Governor, Alhaji Mai-Mala Buni has told the new commissioners-designate to roll up their sleeves as they have huge task ahead of them.
Buni, gave the charge on Tuesday at the opening ceremony of the retreat for commissioners-designate holding at Porto Golf Hotels, Kano.
He noted that a lot have been done in the areas of revitalizing the Education, Health, Agriculture sectors and equally to revitalize the state owned Industries, among others.
He said this however is the begin, much more are still expected by the people of the state and as such “you have huge task to accomplish.”
He therefore, urged the Commissioners-designate to put at the back of their minds that people of the state have numerous expectations from them.
“We need to strive hard to justify the confidence people of the state have in us” Governor Buni added.
He used the opportunity to congratulate the new members of the state executive council for their successful screening by the state House of Assembly.
