Sanwo-Olu announces full reopening of churches, mosques

SUNRISE NEWS, Lagos, Sept 20, 2020 Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced full reopening of worship centres in the state.

Sanwo-Olu who announced this on Saturday during briefing on COVID-19 updates by the state government said churches and mosques can now hold their full services.

The state government had lifted ban on closing of worship centres to only once a week service before now.

With the new directives by the governor, mosques can now observe their five daily prayers while churches can also hold services.

During the briefing, Sanwo-Olu also announced resumption of cinemas, spas and gyms in the state.

He however stated that cinemas must keep strictly to 33% of their capacities. They must get necessary certifications from the Lagos State Safety Commission.
