Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu will today lead other eminent personalities, politicians and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to commission the new ultra-modern secretariat of the Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area.
The new secretariat, located at Idiagbon Bus Stop, is named Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Monumental Civic Centre.
Built by the Chairman, Apostle Oloruntoba Oke, the new office will house a function hall as well as the administrative offices of the Local Government.
Oke, the host of the event expressed happiness that the local government, created on October 1, 1996, finally gets a befitting secretariat.
He described the imposing two-storey building as a befitting legacy of the Apostle Oloruntoba Oke administration to the local government in particular and underscores the significance of grassroots governance.
