Sen. Adeola condoles aide over death of his father

The Chairman Senate Committee on Finance and Senator representing Lagos West, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), has consoled his media adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, the Baaroyin of Imala- Yewa and other members of the Odunaro family in Ilaro and Ishaga Orile on the sudden death of the Chief Josiah Abidemi Odunaro, the Osi Ajiroba of Olu Ilaro and father of Baaroyin.

The Osi Ajiroba of Olu Ilaro passed on at the age of 98 on Friday 12th November.

In a statement signed by Senator Adeola’s aide on legislative matters, Mr. Kenneth Onoja, expressed sadness as he said he was looking forward to the celebration of the 100th years of “Baba Olopa” as the Osi Ajiroba is widely known, saying that the patriarch of the Odunaro family lived a good life with remarkable legacies for others to follow.

“If I go by the legacy of one of his sons, Chief Odunaro, who is my Chief of Staff and Media Adviser, then Baba Olopa did well in service of Nigeria as a Police officer from the colonial era to the post independence era and in bringing up a man like Baaroyin the Yewa born Senator stated.

Senator Adeola said “Baba Olopa” should be celebrated for his service to the nation which took him to Congo Republic for peace keeping operation and service nationwide, which includes; Port-Harcourt, Degema, Okitipupa, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Lagos and elsewhere.

Senator Adeola prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of “Baba Olopa” and the fortitude for the immediate family to bear the irreversible loss.
