Grammy-nominated afrobeat artist, Seun Kuti has spoken up for the first time since his release from police detention.
Sunrise reported that the singer, who was detained at the State Criminal, Investigations and Intelligence Department, SCIID, Yaba, Lagos on the orders of a Yaba Chief Magistrate Court for assaulting a police officer, was granted bail on Tuesday.
Taking to his Instastory shortly after his release, Kuti thanked all those who stood by him during his ordeal.
