Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, has felicated with Edo people at home and in the diaspora on the auspicious occasion of of the 31st anniversary of the creation of Edo State, the Heartbeat of of Nigeria.
In his goodwill message to celebrate the historic event,the Deputy Governor stated: ” permit me to heartily congratulate His Excellency, Mr. Gowin Nogheghase Obaseki, Governor of Edo State,the good people of our dear State and indeed, our founding fathers as we celebrate yet another glorious anniversary of the creation of Edo State 31 years ago”.
According to Shaibu, “Edo State has grown in leaps and bounds these past 31 years and has continued to set the pace in critical sectors of the economy as a sub-national political entity”.
He affirmed that the present administration in Edo State has made giant strides and recorded unprecedented achievements in infrastructure and human capital development.
“As we speak, Edo State, under the Obaseki-led administration has transformed the education, sports and health among other critical sectors in actualizing it’s vision of Making Edo State Great Again, MEGA Agenda”.
The State number two citizen applauded the resilience, resourcefulness and industry of Edo people in taking the State to the next level.
“Edo citizens are hard-working, peace-loving and hospitable people.l must appreciate our people for their unwavering support and prayers for our administration,as we strive to make life more meaningful for the benefit of the majority”.
“It’s heartwarming to underscore that Edo is the most peaceful State in the South-South Geo-poljtical Zone in Nigeria today. This has translated to enduring peace and progress in our State”.
“As a Government, the present administration, under the uncommon leadership of our inspirational Governor, will continue to accelerate the pace of development for the empowerment, growth and economic prosperity of our people”.
“I wish all well-meaning Edo people both at home and in the diaspora happy celebration as our future as a State remain bright and prosperous”.
