Only the fools go all out to paint others black and made everyone to believe that he is white and everyone should believe whatever is coming from his mouth because he is white. When a man believes that he is the only person that have access to God; then you should know that such a person is very far from God and the spirit of Elijah, which I called the spirit of self elevation, pride and murder is on such a person.
In 1 Kings 18:21-22 it was said that; “Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word. Then Elijah said to the people, “I alone am left a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. And in 1 Kings 19:13-18 it was said that; “so it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” And he said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; because the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.” Then the Lord said to him: “Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria. Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. It shall be that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill. Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”
The most arrogant, ignorant, dubious and manipulative members of the body of Christ are the Pentecostal churches. They know nothing and yet claimed to know everything. From their choice of name “Pentecostal” which they made their members to believe means the “Manifestation of the Holy Spirit” according to the historical events in Acts 2:1-4 where it was stated that; “when the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
The name “Pentecost” has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit. The name “Pentecost” comes from the Greek word “Pentekoste” which means “Fiftieth”. King David asked a vital question in Psalm 11:3 saying; “if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” I rephrase the same to be “if the foundations are faulty, what can the church do?” The premise upon which the Pentecostal church is built is faulty and it’s high time the leaders begin to repair and rebuild before it’s too late.
Over the years I’d seen Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi doing lots of repairs in his ministry including cancelling some doctrines and reintroducing some fresh ideas into the ministry; but my concerned is; can he also repaired and refixed some of the lives the doctrines of the church had destroyed in the past? Definitely no. and the same goes to all the Pentecostal churches with so many don’t do this, don’t do that that had ruined the lives of several people across the world and leave many people poor and one man and his family super rich.
Few days ago, I heard Pastor David Ibiyeomie saying that he hates the Celestial Church of Christ. That is the last thing a man that called himself a man of God should say to a person not to talk of a group of people that are considered to be part of the body of Christ. When it was boldly written in Lev 19:17 that; “you shall not hate your brother in your heart.” And Jesus said in Matthew 5:43-48 that; “you have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
For David Ibiyeomie to say that he hates his fellow brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, he is a perfect description of what Apostle John taught in 1 John 2:9-11 saying; “he who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”
Apostle John did not stop there; he went ahead in 1 John 3:15 to say that; “whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” This means for David Ibiyeomie to say that he hates a member of the body of Christ, that means he is a murderer and has no eternal life abiding in him.
Apostle John did not stop there. He went further in 1 John 4:20-21 saying; “if someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” This also means that not only are you a murderer with no eternal life abiding in you; you are also a liar. And we know who the father of all liar is, as Jesus Christ said in liar John 8:44 that; “you are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”
Note that the word “brother” in this context id not referring to your church members or individuals with the same faith or religion as you. The word “brother” in this context is referring to human beings in general regardless of their faith, culture, traditions, tribes, nationalities or skin colour.
For the sake of some reading this and thinking why am I attacking Pentecostal Churches? Oh, he is attacking them because he is a Celestial Church of Christ member. Well, for your information, I’m not a member of Celestial Church of Christ. I’m a member of the body of Christ and I believe strongly in the birth, the death and in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. I was born in Christ Apostolic Church, but in my journey in life, I’d had the opportunity to be part of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Deeper Life Bible Church, Celestial Church of Christ, Jubilee International Christian Church, Living Faith Church aka Winners, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the Latter Rain Assembly, now the Citadel Community Church, House on the Rock, Grace Assembly, Daystar Christian Centre and I was not just a member in any of these churches warming seats, I was a serving member totally committed to the word of God; but in all my journey as a Christian and as a Pastor, some Pentecostal churches are the ones had seen to be the worst kind of a Christian.
Pentecostal church leaders will rubbish other faiths and denominations and paint only themselves and their false doctrines white and yet majority of them know nothing. Only Pentecostal church leaders I’d seen condemning other faith. I’m yet to see Catholic Church, Anglican Church, Baptist Church, Cherubim and Seraphim Church or the Celestial Church of Christ condemning other people’s choice of faith.
So many members of Pentecostal churches patronize Cherubim and Seraphim Church or Celestial Church of Christ Priests for spiritual help and deliverances. Some had even gone as far as patronizing Muslim Clergies and the Traditional Spiritualists for all kinds of help and they’ll still show up in church on Sunday as holy brothers and sisters and even share testimonies of what the Lord had done.
on June 11, 2017 the operatives of the ACP Abba Kyari led Intelligence Response Team, in conjuction with officers of the Lagos State Command, apprehend a notorious kidnap mastermind, Chukwudidumeme Onuamadike Evans. Evans lived in Magodo, he single handed fix Street light on his street and did so many wonderful things. He was the chairman of the church building commit in his church and yet he was a notorious kidnapper.
Chukwudidumeme Onuamadike Evans is the perfect example of the level of ignorance and blindness that filled the Pentecostal church and the level of greed that had filled the heart and mind of some of the Pastor to the point that the only thing they know is money, money and money. Members come to share testimonies in the church and they think it’s their prayers that are working for them. No sir, it is not your prayers; it is the extra efforts they made outside of your prayers and your church that is working for them.
I’m sure you know that for someone to be a notorious kidnap mastermind is not a thing of Fasting and Praying. There are so many metaphysical and demonic activities involved. Many can go as far as animals and human sacrifices all in the name of protecting themselves spiritually and keep make safe trades. And still such a person was a major financier person in his church; sponsoring money for all kinds of things in the church including the church building project.
Most people attended Pentecostal churches for a cover up. Majority of them are connected to other things and I do not blame them. Pentecostal churches equal competition and wealth. Everybody wants to outdo everybody. No one is willing or ready to allow the other person to outdo him or her either as a ministry or individuals. My friend build Faith Dome, I must build African Dome. My son in ministry build One Hundred Thousand Seat Auditorium, I must build the same; forgetting the words of Apostle Paul in
2 Corinthians 10:12 that says; “for we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”
The Message Bible puts it in a more clearer context saying; “we’re not, understand, putting ourselves in a league with those who boast that they’re our superiors. We wouldn’t dare do that. But in all this comparing and grading and competing, they quite miss the point.” But I love how the Good News Bible puts it, saying; “of course we would not dare classify ourselves or compare ourselves with those who rate themselves so highly. How stupid they are! They make up their own standards to measure themselves by, and they judge themselves by their own standards!”
The spirit of God doesn’t dwell in the atmosphere of competition and hatred. For you to compete with someone, it shows that you’d condemned the person in your heart. And keeping friendship with someone you’re condemning in your heart is hypocrisy; you are not different from that scribes and the Pharisees whom Jesus Christ as blind and murderer in Matthew 23:23-36 saying; “woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs -of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our -fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.’ “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous bloodshed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of -Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
If you want the baptism of the Holy Spirit, Pentecostal churches is never your best place to visit or attend; let me make you understand.
One, no church or religious organization of any kind can lead you to God or help you to know God. The best you can get from them is religious beliefs and activities. Knowing God is a personal responsibility and until you make it your point of duty to know God on a one on one bases, the religious organizations will continue to push you from one end of the post to another. In Daniel 11:32-33 it was said that; “those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. And those of the people who understand shall instruct many”.
It is the people who know their God that shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. It is the people who understand that shall instruct many. What does this means to you? It means that you cannot do exploits in life if you don’t know God for yourself and you cannot instruct many, that its, many will not serve you if you don’t understand who you are and how God relates with you. My question to you now is, do you know who you are?
Now, don’t be to quick to tell me that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus because you are not. That is what religion brainwashing had made you to think and believe that you are. Your really identity in life is what God had purposed you and destined you to be in life. Anything outside of that is failure and it doesn’t matter how many time you call on the name of Jesus Christ or how many hours you spend in the church.
You don’t discover God’s purpose for your life by attending church services and filling yourself with church activities. People that do that Prophet Isaiah said in Isaiah 29:13-14 that; “therefore the Lord said: “inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” Jesus Christ reaffirmed the same in Matthew 15:8-9 saying; “these people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'”
Serving God is not by activities or church programs; serving God is all about knowing the mind of God for you and keying yourself into the same. Serving God is aligning yourself with the word of God for your life not in quoting bible to justify your actions and deeds; but having the word of truth working in your life and becoming the walking testimony of His goodness and mercy.
Many people in the church claiming to be serving God are like the woman by the well, whom Jesus Christ said to in John 4:22 that; “you worship what you do not know”. Many people in the church worship what they do not know. Some are worshiping their pastors, some the doctrines, some the denominations, some the name of the church and that is the reasons why their lives is filled with rotten bones as it was said Jesus Christ said in Matthew 23:27; “woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.”
So many people in the church especially the Pentecostal Churches appear beautiful outwardly, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Don’t blame them, that is what religion do to people who cannot sit down and seek God out all by themselves. Until you know who the Lord is to you as a person, you cannot serve God, and if you cannot serve God, you cannot fellowship with God and if you cannot fellowship with God, you cannot know His mind concerning you and if you cannot know His mind concerning you, the earth will not and will never respond to you. That is why King David said in Psalm 24:1 that “the earth is the Lord’s” but he did not stop there; he went further up to verse Six saying; “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face”.
Please pay attention to what King David said here…
Firstly, the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness. Which means everything about the planet belongs to God not to any man or woman.
Secondly, the world and those who dwell therein. Which means every human begins in the world be it Christians, Muslims, Traditional, Hindu, Animist and many others belonging to all forms of religions are all God’s people.
Then, he now ask a question saying, “Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?”
Is it Christians only?
Is it the Born Again only?
Is it the Muslims only?
Is it the Traditional only?
Is it the Hindus only?
Is it the Animist only?
Beyond our choice of faith or religion, he went further to say the only individuals that ascend into the hill of the Lord or stand in His holy place are the individuals with clean hands and a pure heart, those who has not lifted up their soul to an idol; meaning those who material things had not taken preeminent in their hearts, nor sworn deceitfully.
These individuals he said shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of their salvation. Why? Because voluntary on their own they had seek God for themselves and their knowledge of God is not based on what anyone tells them but on the face of God they had seek and found. Just God said in Jeremiah 29:13-14 that; “and you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord”. Seeking God is a thing of the heart not religious activities.
Until you seek God and found God, the resources of the earth will never respond to you. But the moment you found God, Psalm 24:7-10 automatically become effective in your life. It is then the command from heaven will take its rightful place in your life with the word of the Lord saying; “lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.”
Please note that the Lord of hosts, who is the King of glory is not coming into your life to share the space of your heart with any other invisible being. He is coming to occupy the whole of your heart and there is no way God will occupy your heart and you will hate some and be bold enough to say it. There is no way God will be the ultimate in your life and you’ll still have the tenacity to look down on someone else and make people feel less of whom they are just because they are doing things different from yours.
If you have the capacity to hate some, compete with someone unethically, or have anything negative in your heart towards another fellow human being, then God is not in your life; you’re a wolve and Jesus Christ warned us about your kind in Matthew 7:15-20 saying; “beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”
Any religion or individuals that preach anything outside love for a fellow human being regardless of culture, traditions, choice of faith, religion or denomination is a false prophets and bad tree with the capacity to bears bad fruit. A good person is a good tree and such individuals are the ones that preaches love and acceptance not hatred and condemnation; they bear good fruit because they are good themselve.
For the individuals all across the world, who are of the habits of running others down all in the name of religion, I have a news for you according the word of Jesus Christ; “every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” Very soon, you will be cut down and be trampled underfoot by men just as Jesus Christ said in Matthew 5:13 saying; “you are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”
I encourage you to be the good tree; the light to which others can find their paths in life just as Jesus Christ in Matthew 5:14-16 that; “you are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp-stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Do good to others, be the example of the kind of person others want to be. Lets it be said of you of it was said of Jesus Christ in Acts 10:38; “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good”. It can also be said of you that “”how God anointed Sam Adeoye with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good. After all, Jesus Christ had told us in John 14:12 saying; “most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do”. You have the ability and the capability to beat the record of Jesus Christ doing good. Failure to do good to others is the prove that you’re not of God but of the Devil
