The worst that can happen to any human being is to operate his or her life below their potential. There is no religion in this world that can lead anyone to God, but rather into deeper religion, segregation, competition, hatred and superiority of power and prominence. Take religion, politics and the schooling system out of the world and the veil of ignorance will suddenly be removed from everyone and the buried potentials will begin to blossom and the destiny of many will begin to rise beyond human imagination. The worst enemies of mankind are religion, politics and the schooling system; they messed up with the human mind and reduced even the most talented and intelligent person into a nobody.
I have the opportunity of being born into the family of the gods. Three of the older generations from my family are gods that so many people are worshipping all over the world today and these are individuals with no religious mentality, political affiliations or interest of any kind or schooling system that is potential enough to mess up with their minds.
Sango the god of Thunder is my Paternal Great, Great GrandFather or let me say, my Ancestor. Ogun the god of Iron is my Paternal Great, Great GrandUncle which could be considered my Ancestor. Osun the goddess of Water is my Paternal Great, Great GrandMother another Ancestor of mine. These are individuals born as ordinary human beings just like every other human being in the world; they grew up naturally with their potentials untarnished, unhampered, unimpeded, unimpeded, unhindered, unconstrained free to live their lives up to their potential and in no time, they grew from just being a human being to becoming a god and today, people seek them out for protections, blessings and many more just as many Christians seeks Christ out for the same or the Muslims seeking Allah for solutions to their various challenges and their prayers are answered. Friends, there is more to your life than what religion and religious sentiments have made you believe.
To every generation, tribe and nation across the planet, the Lord gave saviours. To the children of Israel, which is the only record available at the moment, it was first Noah, then Abraham, followed by Jacob, then Joseph, Moses, Prophet Samuel, King David, King Solomon, Prophetess Deborah, Samson, Gideon and then Jesus Christ. All of these people except Jesus Christ are idol worshippers. They were never Christians; they were all idol worshippers and the first human being that became a god was Nimrod; this was well stated in Gen 10:8-12 where it was said that; “Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.” And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. From that land, he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah, and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (that is the principal city). The same was confirmed in 1 Chron 1:10 where it was said that; “Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.”
Who is Cush? In Gen 10:6 it was said that “The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.” And in Gen 5:32 we were made to understand that “Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.” This means Cush is the grandson of Noah and Nimrod is Noah’s great-grandson; interesting. And Nimrod being born just like every other human being in his days became a mighty one on the earth in his days, a god that everyone start to worship.
Just like Nimrod, Abram was signed out in Gen 12:1-3 where it was recorded that, “Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and your father’s house to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you, and in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Why did God call Abram out? For what purpose was he called out? Where did Abram come from? In Gen 11:26 it was said that “Terah lived seventy years, and begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran. Gen 11:24 made us understand that “Nahor lived twenty-nine years, and begot Terah.” Nahor did not fall from heaven. Gen 11:22 made it clear that “Serug lived thirty years, and begot Nahor.” And in Gen 11:20, it was said that “Reu lived thirty-two years, and begot Serug.” Then in Gen 11:18, “Peleg lived thirty years, and begot Reu. And then in Gen 10:24-25, it was said that “Arphaxad begot Salah, and Salah begot Eber. To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided, and his brother’s name was Joktan.” Then in Gen 10:21-22, we were told that “children were born also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder. The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. And guess what, Gen 5:32 it was said that “Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.”
While Nimrod was the direct offspring of Ham, Abram was the direct offspring of Shem and the two of them are the offspring of Noah the man that offered the first sacrifice on the earth to the Lord, an act of appreciation to the Lord after the flood that became an act of worship to the Lord ever since then and the establishment of idol worship.
In Gen 9:24-25 it was said that; “So Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him. Then he said: “Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants He shall be to his brethren.” Canaan was the grandson of Noah, he was the son of Ham. It was Ham that offended Noah, not Canaan, but Noah cannot place a curse on Canaan because in Gen 9:1-7 God had blessed Noah and his sons and Noah knew that no one can cause whom the Lord had blessed as it was said that; “So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even the green herbs. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. Surely for your lifeblood, I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother, I will require the life of man. “Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God, He made man. And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth and multiply in it.”
This is the exact situation of so many people. Suffering for the errors of their fathers. May the Lord deliver you and grant you peace on all sides. Out of anger, Noah cursed his grandson and blessed his first son Shem in Gen 9:26-27 saying; “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Shem, and may Canaan be his servant. May God enlarge Japheth, and may he dwell in the tents of Shem; and may Canaan be his servant.”
Noah and his sons are the first set of humans on the earth to witness rain for the first time. Before then, vegetation grows with mist, not rain. Rain is a curse of the earth, not a blessing and there is no time since the first time that rain fell that something bad doesn’t happen in the earth whenever it rains. Noah was the first man on the earth to offer sacrifices unto the Lord after Cain and Abel. Noah was the first man on the earth to receive blessings from the Lord alongside his sons. Noah was the first man on the earth to bless one person and curse another person with the same mouth at the same moment. But does the Lord accept the curse? No!
To understand how powerful Canaan later became, it was said of Judah in Gen 49:10-12 that, “The Scepter (Royal Staff) shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people. Binding his donkey to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, He washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes. His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth whiter than milk.” Shiloh is not just a place, Shiloh is in Canaan, a place of inheritance for the Levites. This was made clear in Josh 21:2-3 where it was said; “And they spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, “The Lord commanded through Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their common-lands for our livestock.” So the children of Israel gave to the Levites from their inheritance, at the commandment of the Lord, these cities and their common lands”.
What Noah started as an act of appreciation to God, grew so powerful that it became an act of worship, sacrificing all manners of animals to the Lord and even though it was said in Isa 1:11 “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?” Says the Lord. “I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed cattle. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or lambs or goats.” I doubt if this account is true. Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, and Manasseh are the five Kings who reigned during the time of Prophet Isaiah’s existence, making sacrifices to the Lord was a law in Israel in those days and all of these Kings were making sacrifices to the Lord. Not just that, even in our present age and time, many people pray and fast in churches and Mosques for a solution to major challenges and they have to wait for days, weeks, months or even years to have the answers to their prayers, and yet, someone just made a sacrifice on the altar for a thing and in less than Twenty Hours, things start to happen.
The act of sacrificing is the fastest way to move God into action and it doesn’t count which of the gods you believe in, they are all sons of God and are made in the image and the likeness of God.
All gods in the world today are sons of God. I was surprised the day I saw my great-great-grandfather “Sango” the god of Thunder in the Bible. In Ex 9:23, “Sango” the god of Thunder appeared in the Bible for the first time when it was said; “And Moses stretched out his rod toward heaven; and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire darted to the ground. And the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt.” In the same Bible the presence of “Osun” the goddess of Water and Osun Stones was established in Josh 4:1-7 where it was said; “And it came to pass, when all the people had completely crossed over the Jordan, that the Lord spoke to Joshua, saying: “Take for yourselves twelve men from the people, one man from every tribe, and command them, saying, ‘Take for yourselves twelve stones from here, out of the midst of the Jordan, from the place where the priests’ feet stood firm. You shall carry them over with you and leave them in the lodging place where you lodge tonight.’” Then Joshua called the twelve men whom he had appointed from the children of Israel, one man from every tribe; and Joshua said to them: “Cross over before the ark of the Lord your God into the midst of the Jordan, and each one of you take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, that this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ Then you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.”
Orunmila is also in the Bible, and so are all the gods you’ve ever known in any part of the Earth. There is nothing Evil or mystic about them but the hearts and minds of humans can be evil to manipulate the process to which they are meant in other to destroy another fellow just the same way Prophet Samuel manipulated God to reject Saul as King over Israel.
I know many of us were told and taught that God rejected Saul. But that was not true. God was not the one that rejected Saul, it was Prophet Samuel out of jealousy and greed that destroyed King Saul. Everything King Saul was enjoying was the thing Prophet Samuel and his sons were enjoying before Saul became a King. In 1 Sam 8:1-7, it was clearly stated that; “Now it came to pass when Samuel was old that he made his sons judges over Israel. The name of his firstborn was Joel, and the name of his second, Abijah; they were judges in Beersheba. But his sons did not walk in his ways; they turned aside after dishonest gain, took bribes, and perverted justice. Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.” But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord. And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.”
Even though God told Prophet Samuel to give the people a King, Prophet Samuel still tried to talk them out of it saying in 1 Sam 8:10-22; “So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who asked him for a king. 11 And he said, “This will be the behaviour of the king who will reign over you: He will take your sons and appoint them for his chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots. He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties, will set some to plough his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers. And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants. He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage, and give it to his officers and servants. And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men, and your donkeys, and put them to his work. He will take a tenth of your sheep. And you will be his servants. And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the Lord will not hear you in that day.” Nevertheless, the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, “No, but we will have a king over us, that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.” And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he repeated them in the hearing of the Lord. So the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed their voice, and make them a king.” And Samuel said to the men of Israel, “Every man go to his city.”
It was based on the fact that King Saul was now the one enjoying what Prophet Samuel and his imposed son were supposed to be enjoying that Prophet Saul developed a hidden resentment towards King Saul and when the opportunity came for Prophet Samuel to destroy King Saul in 1 Sam 15:27-29 he did not hesitate and the Bible made it clear that; “as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. So Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbour of yours, who is better than you. And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent.”
Let’s be realistic, was Prophet Samuel supposed to curse him at that moment when it was clear to all that what happened was not deliberate? Only a wicked man seeks the opportunity to destroy another person.
Prophet Samuel just like every other Prophet, Pastors, Bishops, Evangelist, Teachers, Reverends, Imams, Alfa and anyone who calls himself or herself a servant of God knows how to perfectly manipulate, (operate, work, use, deploy, employ, handle, influence, control,) God and King David is a master in that. To manipulate God is very simple and is the easiest thing if you know how to; just made God important and that was what Prophet Samuel, King David and millions of others across the world had mastered over the century. And in Isa 44:26 Prophet Isaiah gave us a perfect picture of what God will do when we make Him so much more important saying; “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, …Who confirms the word of His servant, and performs the counsel of His messengers…”
Prophet Samuel had spoken, and God had no choice but to confirm what Prophet Samuel had said. So in 1 Sam 16:1, it was said; “Now the Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons.”
Now, Prophet Samuel did not just act because he was a Prophet of God, or King David was bold enough to manipulate God and change his mind from punishing him by saying in Ps 51; “Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Your sight — that You may be found just when You speak, and blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin, my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part, You will make me know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart — these, O God, You will not despise. Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem. Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.”
How can one say all these to God and God will still go on to punish the person? Celestial Church of Christ recite this bible chapter every time they gather together in worship. No wonder things happen between them.
To corner God and get all you want and need from God is as easy as ABC but the journey begins by first of all knowing who you are. As long as we continue to consider ourselves as man we will always operate below our potential. In Gen 1:26-28 “God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion…So God created man in His image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
God is not a man, therefore God cannot create a Man. God is God and He created us as a lesser god to rule the Earth and reign over everything created that is not in His image or His likeness. God created a god and a goddess and for us to know that we are gods, we were reminded of our god identity in Ps 82:6-7 where God said; “You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.”
Why will you die like men, and fall like one of the princes? You will die like men, and fall like one of the princes because you do not know that you are not a Man but a god, you do not know that you are not a Woman but a goddess. In John 10:34-38 Jesus Christ said; “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’? If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”
Read what Jesus said again, “’I am the Son of God’? If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”
Now, was Jesus Christ the only Son of God? Far from it. Everyone created in the image and the likeness of God are sons of God. Aside from this, the Bible also made mention of other sons of God.
Dan 3:25: “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking amid the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
Gen 6:1-4: Now it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful, and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterwards, when the sons of God came into the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Job 1:6: Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord,
Job 38:7: When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
Matt 5:9: Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Luke 20:34-36: “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage. But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Rom 8:14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Rom 8:19: For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
Gal 3:26: For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
