Three arrested at Indian hemp joints in Ilorin
The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Saturday arrested three suspects during a raid on criminal hideouts at Ago Market in the Oja Oba area of Ilorin, the state capital.
The suspects, Abdulkadir Olowo, 38; Adedayo Femi, 33; and Adedayo Sunday, 36, were caught smoking India hemp.
The trio, currently detained at the NSCDC command headquarters in Ilorin, will be charged to court after completion of investigations.
Babawale Zaid Afolabi, spokesman of the command, said in a bid to rid the state of criminal elements, the state Commandant, Makinde Iskil Ayinla, ordered a tactical operation that was carried out at some identified flashpoints across the Ilorin metropolis.
