Tinubu to address Nigerians on Tues, Oct. 1

President Bola Tinubu is set to make a nationwide broadcast on October 1, 2024, at 7 a.m. to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria.

A statement issued on Monday, September 30, by the special adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said the broadcast is part of the activities lined up to celebrate this significant milestone in the country’s history.

The statement, however, advised television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets to connect to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria’s (FROM) network services to air the broadcast.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a nationwide broadcast on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 7 a.m.

“The broadcast is part of activities to commemorate the 64th Independence Anniversary of the nation.

“Television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria for the broadcast”, the statement said.
