The Patrol Team of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ikeja Unit Command, assisted stranded drivers who find themselves in difficult situations, along Lagos-Abeokuta express way and PWD Ikeja.
The Unit Commander Emma Fekoya, said, in line with critical thinking on means to improving service delivery, FRSC is charged with enormous humanitarian responsibilities.
To this effect, RS2.16 Ikeja operatives are all out to deliberately offer these services to the general public even in the line of duties of enforcement.
She said, since the command started the humanitarian assistance, however, the feedback has been quite encouraging and is boosting us to do more and we will continue to do more.
The reason why we are doing this is to help ease road traffic as one of the strategic goals of the FRSC, Fekoya said.
The patrol team of RS2.16, Ikeja Unit Command, will continue as we will not relent in assisting families, companies and pedestrians using the roads and guide them to road safety.
The Unit Commander, said that, this exercise will continue as it was not limited to timing but was adopted by the command to aid free traffic flow without hindrance of any kind.
