The United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC) will hold her annual supreme executive council meeting and her National Youth Conference from 25th to 30th July, 2023 respectively at the UACC General Headquarters, 5, Tesi Street, off Olowojeujeje Street, Ajegunle, Apapa, Lagos
In a statement signed by the UACC Media Director, Pastor Paul Erakhifu, the President and General Overseer of United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC), Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi said the two unique events (the supreme executive meeting and the National Youth Conference) are important to the church. The supreme executive council meeting is for 25th & 26th while the youth conference is slated for 27th to 29th and on Sunday 30th July, 2023 is the special thanksgiving service to give God the glory for his infinite mercy and grace upon the church.
Rev. Dr. Owoyemi stressed that the Supreme Executive Council meeting would enable Ministers of the church deliberate on the progress and growth of the church. Also the council would assess the achievement of the leadership of the church in the past years.
The General Overseer of UACC, Rev Dr. Owoyemi further stated that, the UACC youth conference which is an annual event would enable the youth of the church, who are expected to assemble for three days’ spiritual empowerment, listen to lectures, partake in seminars and workshops which will improve their character and make them strong in the Lord.
“The youth are the future of the church: hence, we must do all we could to nurture them so that they would be able to face challenges in the future and avoid vices that would tarnish their image and bring disgrace to their families” Rev. Owoyemi added.
The chief of host, Rev.(Dr.) Mrs. Victoria Olorunyomi explained that all arrangement has been put in place for the successful hosting of the two annual events. We have put all things in place and arrangement has been concluded to host the two events in Lagos.
“We appreciate the General Overseer, the Ministers and the Youths for their corporation and synergy towards the hosting of the Supreme Executive meeting and the national youth conference of the church” She added.
There will be revival, lectures, seminars. gospel music ministration and lots more.
