Following their impressive performances in Serie A, Premier League side Manchester United are reportedly ready to splash the cash on trio Victor Osimhen, South Korean Kim Min-jae and Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the summer transfer window.

According to Italian media, Ilnapolista, United are preparing a whooping €500m in the next transfer market and at the top of their wish list are Osimhen, Kim and Kvaratskhelia.

Osimhen, who joined the Parthenopeans in the summer of 2020, is the most sought-after striker ahead of the summer transfer window after a sensational season for Napoli.

The Nigeria international has scored 23 goals in just 30 Serie A appearances as Napoli were crowned champions of Italy for the first time in 33 years.

The report further states that the Glazers family have informed the new owners of United to make provision for massive transfer activity in the summer.

The Qatari bid for Manchester United, led by Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani, seems to be in pole position for the takeover battle in its favour with the promise of an extra $1bn set aside for investment in the club.

“Manchester United are planning for the biggest transfer market plan in football history,” Ilnapolista stated.

“Sources close to the Glazers suggest whoever owns the club, they have a plan ready to invest a minimum of €500m in players this summer. United have informed Qatar of this plan.

“United gave us the list of players they wanted to sign,” explained a member of the coaching team accompanying Sheikh Jassim.

The report also stated that United manager, Erik ten-Hag, wants to reinforce the team with five players at four different positions.

“First, a striker, who they intend to cover with Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen.

“Second, a midfielder like Frenkie de Jong, Adrien Rabiot or Alexis Mac Allister.

“Thirdly, two central defenders, Ronald Araujo and Kim min-Jae for whom they offer €100m and fourth on Kvaratskhelia or Kingsley Coman.”
