The supreme court has scheduled judgment in the appeal filed by former Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola against the electio of Governor Ademola Adeleke for 2pm, on Tuesday.
Oyetoka is by the appeal seeking the reversal of the March 25, 2023, judgment of the Court of Appeal, which affirmed the victory of Ademola Adeleke at the July 16, 2022 governorship election in Osun State.
The Appeal Court in its judgment set aside an earlier judgment of the Osun State Governorship Election petition Tribunal in favour of Oyetola. The ruling was given in January.
A five member panel of judges if the Supreme Court announced the time and date for the judgment after taking arguments from lawyers on Monday.
