Henog Global Logistics is a fast rising logistics company with the aim of changing the phase of Transport and Logistics in Nigeria. HENOG exports gadgets like phones, laptops and documents. The CEO, Henog Global Logistics, Henry Ogbanna, who spoke to news men in his Lagos office recently, said he saw the challenges and what people were doing in logistics and I said to myself that this is what I can actually do and do better with innovations.
The major challenges I have for now, is clients anxiousness to goods sent or to be received by being on your neck morning, afternoon and night. This at times bring distractions. Henry said”.
Secondly, our Nigerian banks are not supportive and friendly to Small and Medium Businesses (SMB), by not giving us loans to do business but only believes in the big companies. But by Gods grace, we were able to manage and cope with what we have.
It might also interest you to know that we are the youngest Logistics Company, that have done more than 200 exports and imports for 2019 alone and have also been getting patronage to an acceptable percentage, especially in the areas of export.
The Chief Executive Officer, stated that, we do different from what others are doing and which is our unique selling point as we offer free delivery and free pickup, once you use Henog Logistics company, thereby; scrapping out that particular payment for pickup & delivery like other companies do. We also do 5% discount on items that is 0.5 to 2kg, you can as well call it a promo.
Henog Logistics Boss, Therefore said, there are many ways we can improve logistics system in the country by way of introducing strong tracking to the system, because technology is tacking over and we should key into the trend, a way that Drivers, trucks and goods can be monitored properly while on transit.
He advised Federal government on the need for automation in our ports and avoid the manual way of handling things in the ports. He also advised them to look into making a policy that will see to the proper way of recruiting and renumeration of drivers in Nigeria especially truck drivers because drivers are the main point of logistics as far as Ports are concerned, which will help to achieve the presidential order on the ease of doing business in our ports.
Henry Ogbonna concluded that, in the nearest years, people should look out for our tremendous growth, as we look forward to having more than enough branches within Nigeria, Africa and around the world for best services in Transport and Logistics.
