What Erik ten Hag told Mason Greenwood during first meeting

Mason Greenwood has held his first talks with Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag after his charges were dropped.

The Red Devils striker’s charges of attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour were dropped last week.

The 21-year-old had spent over a year on the sideline amid allegations surrounding images and videos that went viral on social media.

United are carrying out their own internal investigation into the matter despite the charges being dropped.

The Sun reports that the Manchester United boss has now called the striker for talks with a source revealing that the former Ajax boss asked him “how he was feeling physically and mentally.”

The Dutchman, according to the report, was “pleased the charges had been dropped” and thought it was the right thing to do to reach out to the England star, who was one of the club’s finalist prospects before the video surfaced online.

But before their one on one meeting, the player had been previously communicating with the club via a third party.
