Big Brother Naija reality show winner, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, has apologized for his demeaning comments about women.

Recall that the reality star came under heavy fire after he insinuated that no woman is above a man’s league as long the man is wealthy.

His comment elicited outrage from ladies most notably from fellow former Big Brother Naija housemate Doyin and actress Victoria Inyama.

Whitemoney fuelled the outrage with his outing on the Honest Bunch podcast where he berated Doyin for tackling.

However, the Big Brother Naija Season 6 winner finally bowed to pressure after receiving backlashes online and apologized to ladies who had been hurt by his statement.

He explained that he didn’t mean to slander women, claiming that he was misunderstood.

Whitemoney said, “I will never slander women, I will never talk bad against women, I was raised by women, I love women, my team is filled with women, and I don’t have anything against women. Women have been a major part of my career and I appreciate every single woman in my life that I’ve come across and yet to come across.

“So, I’m sorry to all the women who feel insulted, I didn’t mean to insult anybody intentionally, I’m not above mistakes, I’m not perfect, thank you very much, let love lead,” he said.
