Wife of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Alhaja Titi Atiku Abubakar has appealed to women in Ogun to vote massively for her husband to put an end to insecurity and the education of their children.
Speaking at the Chief Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Titi Abubakar said she is in the state to canvass the women and youths to vote for the PDP Presidential candidate.
According to her, only the PDP candidate have the answer and experience to the challenges bedevilling the country after seven years of mindless plundering.
She said she is moving round to enlighten the women to rise up and defend their tomorrow.
“If you vote for my husband, you would encourage me to join hands with you to train you and to raise our children. Just recently they were at home for about eight months. During that period many of our young girls have been impregnated, while the boys have turned into Yahoo-Yahoo. I urge you to vote for my husband so that we would reverse this trend and to train your children just like I trained mine.”
Also speaking, the wife of the PDP governorship candidate Mrs Adebutu praised Mrs Atiku Abubakar for her standing behind her husband. She said women of Ogun State are resolutely behind the ambition of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
She therefore urged the women to go and pick their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC), and continue to mobilise their folks in order to take the country away from the hands of the plunderers who have continued to feed fat to the detriment of the masses of the country.
