Wike, sons pay Christmas visit to Tinubu in Lagos (photos)

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Mr Nyesom Wike on Thursday, led his two sons to the Burdillon, Ikoyi home of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on a courtesy visit at Christmas.

Wike, a two term governor of Rivers State, among several other political offices he has held in the past, was accompanied by his two sons, who took time off to have a handshake with President Tinubu, who had been on Christmas vacation in Lagos, since December 20, 2024.

Sunrise News recalls that Wike, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, who emerged the first runner up in the party’s presidential primaries has emerged one of the closest allies of President Tinubu in this dispensation. He was appointed a Minister by the President even while he remains in his party and is reputed to be a member of the kitchen cabinet of the President enjoying tremendous influence in the Tinubu administration.
