Women group eyes Lagos governor’s seat in 2023

SUNRISE NEWS, Lagos, July 13, 2020 The Made in Lagos Women Organisation has revealed her political ambition to become the Lagos state Governor in the year 2023.

The Global Coordinating Executive of Made in Lagos Women Organisation; ‘Comrade Bose Joseph’ disclosed this on Thursday at the group courtesy visit to the Office of the Commissioner for Lagos State Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Cecilia Abolaji Dada and to rejoice with her at her first birthday in the office after she had spent about ten month in the office.

Administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, commends’ that he has done so well to carry the Women along in order for all to showcase their own area of contributions to develop the state.

She stated further that to become the next Governor of Lagos state is part of the Women Agenda for 2023.

Comrade Bose Joseph therefore urged the women in Lagos who have distanced themselves in participating in the group of women in governance should wait  no  more for government whistle before they come closer to showcase their talents and have their benefits in the government.

She however thanked the Lagos State Government for her support for Women to fight COVID 19 hardship with the series of palliative packages distributed through the ministry of women affairs and poverty alleviation(WAPA) and the seminars organised among the women.

The Comrade expressed her best wishes to the WAPA Commissioner at her first birthday in office as a distinguish leader who is so humble to the core even among the women group.
