By As part of its corporate social responsibility, Word Base Assembly, Okota is set to host the third edition of its annual race tagged ‘Okota Hiit Run’.
According to the General Overseer of the Church, Bishop Humphrey Erumaka who initiated the event, he said the purpose of the marathon is to sensitise people on the need for healthy living through exercise.
The
winner of the race will cart home, N100,000 and the first female to get to the
finishing line will win, N50,000.
There are also prices for families and men and women over the age of 45 anf
there would also be so many consolation prices up for grabs.
The marathon will take place on April 6, 2019 by 6am and the take off point is Ago roundabout, Okota.
Law enforcement officials will be there to ensure smooth flow of traffic. Registration is free and is ongoing. Those interested in participating should visit www.wordbase.com.ng to register.
